Imani spent her childhood summers in Lucky Strike Village, Belize, which sparked her deep love for village life and her cultural roots. Now residing in Bullet Tree Falls, San Ignacio, she returned to Belize two years ago to pursue her dream of giving back through philanthropy. With a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of South Florida, Imani built a diverse career in branding and communications. Her creative side led her to launch The Jex Collection, a fashion line focused on women’s clothing.
Motivated by the struggles she observed in her village and inspired by the Quranic principle of seeking knowledge, she founded the nonprofit Food for Thought. The organization aims to improve child education by addressing student nutrition, supporting school infrastructure, and promoting extracurricular activities in arts and sports.Passionate about creating equal opportunities, Imani is committed to transforming Belizean communities through education and empowerment.
