Libny, a proud native of Independence Village, is known for her outgoing and
compassionate nature, which she has expressed through active involvement in church and community service from a young age. At 17, she left home to pursue a degree in Accounting
Management while working to support herself and help her family financially, a
responsibility that has shaped her resilience and drive.

Motivated to make a meaningful impact beyond her immediate community, Libny applied
to Miss Universe Belize at 18. Although she wasn’t selected to compete, the experience
clarified her purpose and deepened her desire to share her evolving story. Now with a

renewed perspective, she believes her journey can inspire not just the women of Belize, but
the entire nation.
